Movember Update

During November a number of employees and their friends supported the Movember movement and grew a moustache, sponsored by The Amoria Bond Charitable Trust.

A big well done to all the guys in the company that took part, there were some pretty impressive displays of facial hair and £1700 was raised.

Before it slips from our mind and becomes a distant memory, spare a thought for why we did it - raising funds and awareness for men's health issues, specifically Prostate cancer and Cancer Research

Computers for Project Peru

Amoria Bond is pleased to have been able to support the work of Project Peru by supplying much needed computers for the children in their refuge in Lima. This initiative is consistent with the objectives of the Amoria Bond Charitable Trust.

Project Peru is a UK-based registered charity which addresses some of the enduring social issues that Peru faces, offering practical, ongoing and direct help both in their children’s refuge and in the local shanty town communities. The aim is dignity and independence, particularly through education. The focal point of the Project in Peru is in Zapallal in the desert shanty towns of Lima, where a refuge from poverty and disadvantage has been established. Food, clothes, shelter, education and fun are provided for children and families from extreme poverty. New buildings have added space and possibilities for offering wider facilities including an updated computer room, now supported by Amoria Bond.
