Assess your skills, experience, and achievements. It's crucial to gather information on salary ranges for similar positions in your industry and location. This knowledge will give you an edge during the negotiation process.

Tip 2: Don’t Move Your Goalposts

Determine the minimum salary you're willing to accept and set an ideal range for negotiation. Be realistic on what you will consider as you can’t change your mind later. Remember, confidence in your value is key.

Effective communication is essential. Start by expressing your gratitude for the offer and your enthusiasm for the opportunity.
