The Power Electronics Engineer Role:
We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to work on industry-leading projects. Responsibilities in this role may be to:
* Investigate embedded software problems, recommending appropriate action own problem resolution and validation, run design review and documents results.
* Develop system controller embedded controls.
* Integrate the system controller with other controllers/sub-systems.
* Oversee the quality and performance of software by overseeing implementation & testing.
* Deliver independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems.
* Improve efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.
* Influence technical direction within the project team.
* Ensure your continuous professional development in vital areas.
For the role of Power Electronics Engineer, we are looking for:
Essential-
* Experience with embedded controls using MATLAB Simulink
* Effective and collaborative team player
* Good communicator – written and verbal.
* MS Office Suite
Desirable-
* PCAN view, Canalyzer, etc.
* Windchill RV & S / PTC Integrity
* Product Failure Mode Avoidance
* Automotive engines
* Hybrid vehicles
* Transmission
Plus, knowledge in the following areas: Power Electronics, Battery Pack/System, Traction, EV charging/AC/DC Fast Charging/ Vehicle-to-Grid type of feature
