Pay intentions highest since Spring 2009

The CIPD surveyed over 1000 employers and found that average wage will rise by 1.7%.

This is an overall average of all the organisations surveyed, regardless of pay intentions, with 35% predicting pay rises.

Once again there are further signs of growth within Manufacturing & production as they predict the highest raises at 2.9%
