European Union member states were warned this week that Europe isn't providing enough IT skilled labour, which could lead to 700,000 unfilled ICT vacancies by 2015
Neelie Kroes, of the EU, said that companies in Germany and elsewhere are finding it hard to recruit qualified IT staff. She also said that in the near future all jobs will require "some sort of digital skills" with demand for ICT workers growing at 3% per year.
