Our client is one of the largest privately owned and independent Aerospace and Defence companies that delivers innovation and excellence in engineering and support solutions in the air, on land and at sea. Our client needed to focus on their Authoring Consulting Services. Our client was looking for experts in the Technical Authoring sector. They were targeting a very specific skill set and professionals with 5 years plus experience.
We used a combination of contingent search with headhunting, networking and referrals.
Our client had used their own onsite recruitment company for the last 16 years. This made the initial contact difficult as all recruitment flowed through them. The hiring managers though were very keen to work with us because of our success rate through the process that we could put in place and as well as our proven track record in candidate selection.
If this challenge wasn’t enough the skill set they were looking for was very niche and something we identified as a real skill gap in the market. Therefore when we found good candidates we needed to move quickly because they would be off the market in a short space of time.
The final challenge was the onsite recruitment company would not agree to our terms. Therefore we had to agree terms directly with our client. This is something that had not been done in the 16 years the onsite recruitment company had been running.

We successfully placed 7 suitable candidates with our client within 4 weeks. Comparatively their onsite recruiters had previously taken 2 months to place 2 candidates. The managers were extremely happy with the service and quality we delivered. Due to the proven value we added, our client agreed to Terms of Business with Amoria Bond and gave us Supplier Status.
