Amoria Bond have been named as double winners at the 2017 Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) Awards, scooping both ‘Best Company to Work For (Up to 150 employees)’ as well as ‘Best Corporate and Social Responsibilities Practitioners’.

The IRP Awards, which recognise and celebrate outstanding performance within the recruitment industry, are the only recruitment sector awards hosted by the REC.

Group Managing Director (Europe) Ian Cross said, ‘It is particularly pleasing to have won the ‘Best Company to Work For’ award for the second year in the row . Our company mission is all about being the best for our people as well as our customers and this is what drives us to continually innovate and improve, so it’s great that the IRP Awards have recognised this again!  We’re also delighted to have won the ‘Best Corporate and Social Responsibilities Practitioners’ for the first time which recognises the company’s approach to supporting our local communities as well as our charity work overseas. Both awards are down to the hard work, generosity and commitment of our dedicated teams.’

The IRP Awards judges felt that Amoria Bond were the ‘clear winner’ in the category of ‘Best Company to Work For (Up to 150 employees) with ‘a strong focus on ‘values, ethics and behaviour led from the top, which underlies their winning team strategy.’

The judges of the awards were impressed with Amoria Bond’s commitment to charitable and community projects. In 2017, the company completed it’s CSR commitment to build 100 houses, homing over 500 people, in the shanty town of Las Ladres, Peru. Closer to home, teams across all 4 of Amoria Bond’s international offices support local charities and initiatives on an ongoing basis.  The judges felt that the win in the category of Best Corporate & Social Responsibility Practitioners was ‘well deserved’.

The awards ceremony took place at The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel and was hosted by Gyles Brandreth. REC chief executive Kevin Green said:  “Tonight’s winners deserve a huge amount of credit and can be held up as the leading lights within recruitment. Recruiters transform lives, and all the companies and individuals showcased this year clearly show the value that our industry delivers every day.  In 2017 we received a record number of high caliber entries, and everyone on the shortlist should be proud of their work, which is driving up standards and professionalism in recruitment.”
