NL Office Raises €3,900 for Serve the City Amsterdam

Amoria Bond has partnered with the EY Foundation, a charity that supports young people from low-income backgrounds to help them get the skills and work experience that can help them overcome barriers to entering the job market.
As a business centred on helping people improve their careers and committed to our purpose of Progressing Lives Everywhere, we recognise the value of the work done by the EY Foundation. No-one should be held back from starting a great career by their background which is why it’s so important to help young people in this situation learn employability skills, get useful career guidance and have access to paid work experience.
For our first joint venture with the EY Foundation, volunteers from Amoria Bond spent a brilliant morning in Manchester delivering a workshop on employability skills with young people from Bolton’s Little Lever School.
We talked to them about the benefits of a career in recruitment, the most valuable skills business leaders are looking for, the interview techniques that will help you get hired and the ways you can use your experience outside work to demonstrate your capabilities.
And we even branched into social media marketing and how to create an attention-grabbing, brand-focused tik tok!
Not only did we have a great time delivering talks and tasks to the next generation of workers, we were absolutely blown away by the enthusiasm and engagement we saw. This was such a rewarding morning for us and hopefully a positive and beneficial one for them.
We’re looking forward to working further with the EY Foundation and doing more to support young people in their careers.
