DEI is an ongoing journey and we’re in it for the long haul, and we are proud that our award-winning EED&I strategy has been recognised both within our industry and beyond. We don’t pretend to be perfect, but we are 100% committed and hold ourselves fully accountable to delivering sustainable, meaningful action-led change internally, within the recruitment industry we love, and across the STEM sectors we serve.

Having accurate, measurable data is crucial for establishing our performance against our DEI commitments, and planning future initiatives and policy updates to ensure we have an inclusive, positive workplace culture for all. This data forms the backbone of our activity, and we will continue to track it so we can better engage and collaborate with our teams to identify and implement relevant, positive actions and changes to achieve this goal.

Our teams have raised money for women’s shelters, volunteered with The Pankhurst Centre during the UN’s 16 Days of Activism, supported Women’s Aid events with practical help, and worked with The Girls’ Network to run CV‑writing workshops for young women from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our DEI initiatives

What is ASCEND?

Launched in 2020, ASCEND is an internal programme designed to attract, retain, empower and advance women across the business, while also fostering greater cross-regional collaboration and leadership development. Guided by a Steering Committee of senior women from all global offices, the initiative has grown through tailored regional ownership, combining one-to-one coaching, mentoring, networking opportunities, inspiring podcasts and empowerment training.
