Job Description: Procurement Data Analyst

Overview

We are seeking two Procurement Data Analysts to join our dynamic Group Procurement team in Schiphol. This is a full-time role, starting ASAP, initially for 12 months with the option to extend or convert to a permanent position. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing procurement performance by delivering accurate reporting, insightful analytics, and robust financial forecasting across multiple operating companies within an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive group procurement reports and manage budgets effectively.
  • Validate operating company (OpCo) procurement reporting, forecasts, actuals, KPIs, and savings.
  • Track Procurement Excellence initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain dynamic dashboards, spend reports, and performance measurement tools.
  • Extract, cleanse, enrich, and analyze procurement data from multiple countries and stakeholders.
  • Support category managers with in-depth analysis, timely reporting, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance to business goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement analytics, spend analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and tracking procurement savings.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (including VBA, PowerQuery, PivotTables, and complex formulas).
  • Experience with SQL querying languages; familiarity with Oracle or MS Access is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear and impactful insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Preferred but not mandatory:
    • Experience in an international or multi-OpCo procurement environment.
    • Background in construction materials procurement.
    • Additional European language skills.
