System Architect

One of my clients is looking for a (Senior) System Architect who has knowledge and expertise in mobility domain.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain system architecture for intelligent traffic and infrastructure control systems in road, tunnel, and urban mobility environments.
• Translate functional and operational requirements into coherent system designs for traffic management, tunnel control, and road infrastructure systems.
• Ensure end-to-end integration of cyber-physical systems, including sensors, control systems, communication networks, and central management platforms.
• Design and manage interfaces between subsystems such as traffic control centers, roadside equipment, tunnel systems, and external stakeholder platforms.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant system operation in line with RAMS principles
• Review and validate technical documentation including requirements, architecture designs, interface specifications, test plans, and verification & validation documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Traffic management systems and control center architectures
• Tunnel control systems (ventilation, lighting, safety, incident detection)
• Cyber-physical systems integration (hardware, software, and communication networks)
• Interface management between complex infrastructure subsystems
• RAMS engineering and safety-critical system design
• Verification & Validation (V&V) methodologies
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Industrial automation and real-time control systems
• Experience with tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or similar modeling platforms
• Knowledge of IoT, sensor networks, and roadside infrastructure systems
