Job Title: Automation Engineer

• Design and implement scalable and secure automation frameworks
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automated processes to ensure system reliability
• Document processes and provide training or support for team members on automation tools and practices
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to automation and networking
• Promote and contribute to a culture of inclusion, openness, and continuous learning

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Python, PowerShell scripting, and Ansible automation tools
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Familiarity with configuring and managing network devices through automation

• Strong communication skills to effectively work with diverse teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace
• Relevant certifications or equivalent experience is a plus (e.g., Cisco, Red Hat, or related automation certifications)

Day-to-Day

• Write and deploy automation scripts to streamline network management tasks
• Collaborate with network engineers and IT staff to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in daily stand-ups and planning meetings to align on priorities
• Monitor automation processes and resolve issues proactively
• Engage in continuous learning and share knowledge with peers to promote professional growth
• Advocate for best practices in automation, diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout projects and team interactions
