IT/OT Architect
On behalf of our respected client, we are currently looking for an experienced IT/OT Architect to support the design and implementation of secure, resilient IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments within complex industrial and regulated organizations. You will play a key role in bridging enterprise IT with industrial control systems, ensuring secure and compliant architectures across production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure IT/OT architectures aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Define architecture standards and roadmaps for industrial environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
- Lead the integration of IT and OT networks across production sites and mission-critical environments.
- Develop security architectures for industrial control systems, including SCADA environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks such as ISA-95, ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and IEC 62443.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, operations, and security teams to embed security into OT environments.
- Design and implement secure network segmentation, identity and access management, and secure remote access solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies to strengthen the organization's IT/OT security posture.
- Produce high-level architecture documentation, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT/OT Architect, OT Security Architect, or Infrastructure Architect within industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of IT/OT security and industrial control systems, including SCADA.
- Experience designing and securing complex national and international network infrastructures.
- Expertise in security strategy, governance, and compliance within regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with security standards including ISA-95, ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and IEC 62443.
- Strong understanding of modern security domains, including PKI, IAM, BYOD, WLAN Security, IoT Security, and Penetration Testing.
- Experience with network architecture, segmentation, firewalls, and secure connectivity across enterprise and production environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business and operational requirements into secure architectural solutions.
- Experience within manufacturing, energy, utilities, pharmaceuticals, or other critical infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.
