Job Description: SAP SD Senior Consultant with MM Experience

Overview

Amoria Bond is seeking a highly skilled SAP SD Senior Consultant with strong technical-functional expertise and experience in MM, to contribute to a strategic project involving the deployment and adaptation of a Sales Core Model across Europe. This freelance role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, international environment based in Paris, with occasional travel. The role requires both project work and Level 2/3 support, focusing on process analysis, interface troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and customize the SAP SD Core Model to meet international deployment requirements.
• Manage and optimize sales process flows within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) framework.
• Provide N2/N3 support for complex SAP SD issues, performing deep analysis of incidents to identify functional and technical root causes.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to IDocs, EDI interfaces, and data flows between SAP modules.
• Read and interpret ABAP code to assist in diagnostics and troubleshooting, collaborating closely with technical teams.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor deliverables, and ensure alignment with timelines.
• Participate actively in testing phases including SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Support production rollouts and provide ongoing assistance to users.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business users, IT, development teams, and local partners.
• Maintain compliance with multi-country regulatory requirements and adapt solutions accordingly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP SD consulting with proven technical-functional skills.
• Solid experience working within S/4HANA environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Hands-on experience with international Core Model projects and rollouts.
• Demonstrated expertise in Level 2/3 SAP support and complex incident resolution.
• Proficient in handling IDoc and EDI interface issues, including error analysis and resolution.
• Ability to read and analyze ABAP code to support troubleshooting (development is not required).
• Strong understanding of SAP integration patterns with external systems.
• Experience working in regulated, multi-country environments.
• Solid project coordination and delivery tracking skills.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Highly autonomous with a strong techno-functional mindset and investigative skills.
• Experience in MM module is a plus to support cross-functional integration.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Analyze and adapt sales processes and workflows to fit required Core Model standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD issues escalated to N2/N3 support.
• Collaborate daily with technical and business stakeholders to resolve complex incidents.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless progress and timely delivery of tasks.
• Monitor and evaluate interfaces and data flows to ensure system integrity.
• Assist users and local teams during international rollouts and system upgrades.
• Participate regularly in planning sessions, testing, and deployment activities.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge bases to share expertise with the broader team.

Location: Lyon, France (with occasional travel within Europe)
