Recruitment Consultant

Business Product Analyst, Crew Operations Transformation

Amsterdam region | Hybrid (around 3 days on-site) | 12 months initial | 40 hrs/week | Freelance or payroll | ASAP start

About the programme

A major airline is running a large-scale transformation of its crew operations. Legacy crew management systems are being replaced with a new crew tracking solution, and the programme team is growing.

About the role

You'll sit between the crew operations teams and the delivery partners building the new platform. Different user groups (crew planning, crew control, operations) each have their own processes and priorities. Your job is to understand how they work today, bring that together into one clear way of working, and make sure the new solution supports it.

This isn't a role for passing requests along. You'll be expected to challenge stakeholders, make decisions and own them.

What you'll do

Run workshops and interviews with crew planning, crew tracking and crew control teams

Analyse current processes and design future ones

Gather and document requirements, and write functional specifications

Translate crew rules and operational needs into clear, actionable requirements

Challenge stakeholders constructively and align different user groups on one approach

Work closely with external IT partners and the programme team throughout implementation

Support testing and the move from the legacy systems to the new platform

What you'll bring

Proven experience as a Business or Product Analyst in a complex operational environment

Hands-on experience in crew planning, crew tracking, crew control or rostering

Experience with crew management systems such as NetLine/Crew, Jeppesen, Sabre, AIMS, IBS or similar

Strong BA skills: requirements gathering, process analysis, workshop facilitation and functional specs

Experience in highly regulated, rule-based or operationally complex environments

Confidence to challenge and make decisions, with excellent communication and stakeholder skills

Fluent spoken and written English (Dutch not required)

Nice to have

Aviation industry experience (strongly preferred)

Experience on a crew system replacement or migration

Workforce management or similar operational planning background (considered if no aviation)

What's on offer

12-month initial contract on a long-term,

Market-conform rate, depending on experience

Hybrid working, around 3 days a week on-site in the Amsterdam region
