We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team specializing in Automotive & Heavy Duty power electronics. This role focuses on managing and growing strategic partnerships within the automotive industry, particularly in areas such as DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, and heavy-duty inverters. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with key automotive and heavy-duty clients across the USA.
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts related to DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, and heavy-duty inverters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and seamless communication between clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and supply chain to deliver customer-focused solutions that meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic account plans.
- Support and contribute to onboarding new clients and products, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with customer needs.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within customer interactions and team collaborations, ensuring respectful and equitable treatment of all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar sales role within the automotive or heavy-duty power electronics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive power electronics components including DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, and heavy-duty inverters.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close complex deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity to work effectively in diverse and inclusive environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Ability to travel within the USA as needed to foster client relationships and attend industry events.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- US Citizenship is required.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Engage with key automotive customers via calls, video conferences, and in-person meetings to discuss needs and progress.
- Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams to align solutions with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Analyze sales data and market intelligence to adjust strategies proactively.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, forecasts, and reports to management and clients.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product developments and industry trends.
- Advocate for inclusive practices in client dealings and contribute to a workplace that respects diverse perspectives.
