Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Eindhoven. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems, including LAN/WLAN, VLAN configurations, Cisco equipment, switching, routing, firewalls, and datacenter operations. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WLAN, and VLAN infrastructures to support organizational needs.
- Configure and manage Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls to optimize network performance and security.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient network architectures.
- Support datacenter operations including hardware installation, maintenance, and network integration.
- Analyze network traffic and security logs to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement effective controls.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in network engineering.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely response to network emergencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with LAN/WLAN design and management, VLAN configuration, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of switching, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and firewall technologies.
- Experience supporting datacenter operations and network infrastructure.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively in a diverse environment.
