For an industrial project in the Braunschweig area, I am currently looking for a freelance EPLAN Electrical Designer / Electrical Drafter to support the electrical engineering team.
The main focus is the creation, modification and maintenance of electrical schematics and technical documentation in EPLAN P8. The position is suitable for junior to mid-level specialists; full project responsibility is not required.

Duration: Initial contract of approximately 3 months, with a strong option to extend
Location: Braunschweig area, Germany
Work model: 100% onsite
Workload: 50-56 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Create and modify electrical schematics using EPLAN P8
- Update existing circuit diagrams and electrical documentation
- Add and maintain components, devices, terminals and cable information
- Prepare documentation for control cabinets and industrial equipment
- Check drawings for completeness and technical accuracy
- Document modifications made during installation and commissioning
- Coordinate technical changes with electrical, automation and installation teams
Requirements
- Practical experience with EPLAN P8
- Experience creating or modifying electrical schematics
- Basic understanding of control cabinets, industrial wiring and electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical documentation
- Independent, accurate and structured working style
- Availability to work onsite in the Braunschweig area
- Good communication skills in English or German
Advantageous
- Qualification as an electrician, electrical technician, electrical drafter or similar
- Experience in industrial automation, machinery or plant engineering
- Experience with control cabinet documentation
- Previous experience in installation or commissioning environments
