Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate thorough Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and organizational standards.
- Analyze complex business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Gather, document, and communicate business requirements clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate with project managers, IT, legal, and compliance teams to align business goals with data privacy and protection standards.
- Develop comprehensive reports, recommendations, and presentations to support decision-making.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster an inclusive team environment that encourages diverse perspectives.
- Stay informed on latest industry trends, data privacy laws, and best practices to continually improve analysis methods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, including specific experience in conducting DPIAs.
- Strong understanding of data privacy principles and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders with cultural sensitivity.
- Experience using business analysis tools and software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; advanced certifications or training in privacy/data protection is a plus.

Day-to-Day
- Engage with project teams and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and privacy implications.
- Conduct DPIAs for new initiatives, evaluating risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings that encourage open dialogue and diverse viewpoints.
- Document findings, prepare presentations, and communicate outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development focused on data privacy and inclusive practices.
- Collaborate with human resources and leadership to promote a culture of equality and respect within the organization.
