Job Description: Mendix Developer

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mendix Developer to join our diverse and inclusive technology team. As a Mendix Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying innovative low-code solutions that empower our business and clients. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Mendix applications, ensuring high quality and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, UX designers, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs using Mendix low-code platform.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure robust and maintainable applications.
  • Advocate for inclusive design and accessibility in all Mendix applications.
  • Continuously learn and apply best practices in Mendix development and agile methodologies.
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and optimization of Mendix applications in different environments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Mendix development or similar low-code platforms.
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle management in Mendix.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse, collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in the workplace.

Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate with team members during daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
  • Design application modules and develop Mendix models according to functional specifications.
  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on solutions.
  • Document development processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously explore new Mendix features and low-code trends to enhance application capabilities.
