Order Management consultant
Freelance Order Management Consultant sought for FMCG organisation in Amsterdam area. This concerns a 3-6 months interim project to cover a gap until a permanent replacement has been found.
Start - ideally 2nd half of July
Duration - 3 months initial contract (option to extend)
Type - Freelance contract via Amoria Bond - payroll option is possible
Location - Amsterdam area (2 day remote option)
Rate - around 55 EUR p/h

The assignment
Take ownership of the day-to-day operational Order Management activities while helping stabilize and improve the function. You will lead the operational Order Management processes and work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics and Sales to ensure excellent customer delivery performance.
Key responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end Order Management process from order intake through fulfilment
* Process and monitor customer orders within the ERP environment (NetSuite)
* Ensure order accuracy, product availability and timely deliveries
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer order-related issues and escalations
* Coordinate closely with warehouse, logistics and planning teams
* Monitor inventory availability and proactively communicate supply issues
* Lead the operational Order Management team and provide day-to-day guidance
* Drive process improvements and identify automation opportunities
* Improve reporting, master data quality and operational KPIs
* Support change initiatives and help further professionalize the Order Management function
* Collaborate across Sales, Supply Chain and Customer Service to optimize customer experience
We are looking for
- Proven experience in Order Management, Customer Service or Supply Chain Operations
- Strong ERP experience (NetSuite is a major advantage)
- Excellent Excel skills in English and ideally Dutch
- Experience working with reporting tools such as Tableau or similar BI platforms
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on mindset
- Experience driving operational improvements and process optimisation
