Freelance Construction Supervisor | Food Industry | Major CAPEX Project | Immediate Start - End of 2026

Experienced Freelance Construction Supervisor sought for Food partner in West Flanders to support a large-scale capital investment project.

Start- As soon as possible

Location- South of West-Flanders (must live in the area because of on-site working)

Type- Freelance contract via Amoria Bond

Duration- until end of 2026

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day construction and installation activities on site.

Coordinate and manage contractors and subcontractors.

Monitor construction progress and ensure work is delivered according to schedule.

Identify and resolve construction-related issues and escalate where necessary.

Liaise with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and contractors.

Report on project progress, safety performance, and any deviations.

Profile

Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor on large industrial or CAPEX projects.

Experience within the food industry is highly preferred. Experience in other regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceutical, chemical, FMCG) will also be considered.

Strong knowledge of construction execution and contractor management.

Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

English is mandatory, ideally Dutch and/or French as 2nd language

Working Hours

Construction activities start early in the morning and continue until approximately 22:00. To ensure continuous site supervision, the Construction Supervisor will work in a two-shift schedule, covering the construction activities between approximately 05:00/06:00 and 22:00. There will be work done on Saturdays, so working on a Saturday every now and then will be included.
