DevOps Platform Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced DevOps Platform Engineer to join our diverse and inclusive team. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and manage automated deployment scripts and workflows leveraging Shell scripting and Ansible.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes tools; experience with AKS and Helm is a plus.
• Monitor platform health and performance metrics through ELK Stack, Grafana, and Prometheus; troubleshoot and optimize accordingly.
• Implement and enforce platform security best practices to protect infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support reliable, scalable platform solutions.
• Document processes and configurations to promote knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies and industry trends to continuously improve infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Linux system administration and Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps.
• Strong skills in configuration management using Ansible.
• Proficiency working with Docker containers.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as ELK Stack, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Understanding of platform security principles and practices.
• Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful team environment.

Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with developers and engineers to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud infrastructure.
• Write and update automation scripts that streamline platform operations.
• Respond to platform incidents and identify root causes for swift resolution.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and planning meetings to align with team goals.
• Conduct code and configuration reviews with a focus on quality and security.
• Continuously optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
• Engage in knowledge sharing sessions to support team growth and diversity of thought.
