Job Title: PAM Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled PAM Engineer to join the security team for our end client. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in CyberArk/PAM solutions, privileged account management, and automation, contributing to the robust security architecture of the organization. We welcome candidates who bring varied perspectives and experiences to help strengthen the team and its success.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, primarily using CyberArk.
  • Manage and secure privileged accounts across Windows Active Directory/Entra ID environments.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using PowerShell and Python to streamline PAM processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce PAM security architecture and best practices.
  • Monitor and audit privileged access activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to team members on PAM tools and security protocols.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging PAM technologies and recommend enhancements to improve security posture.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with CyberArk or other PAM platforms in large-scale environments.
  • Strong understanding of privileged account management concepts and security practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID administration and security.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for automation purposes.
  • Knowledge of PAM security architecture principles and implementation strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CyberArk Trustee, CISSP) are a plus.

Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate with IT security and operations teams to monitor and manage privileged access.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze logs and generate reports on privileged account activities.
  • Participate in security audits and remediation efforts related to privileged access.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on latest PAM trends and technologies.
  • Support team members by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in security.
