Job Description: NetDevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled NetDevOps Engineer to join our diverse and inclusive technology team. In this role, depending on your evaluation during interviews, you will join one of two dynamic teams:

• Team 1: Focused on high-demand, day-to-day operations including automation frameworks, testing new releases, and supporting a full-fledged networking department. This team operates in an agile environment and concentrates on maturing and enhancing the current network solutions, with standby readiness to respond to critical issues.
• Team 2: Concentrated on developing new network solutions aligned with evolving guidelines. This team is currently designing a separate network from the global standard, incorporating elements such as cameras and security systems. Responsibilities include making design changes and working on large-scale development cycles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure using Aruba solutions and ClearPass for authentication.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts and workflows using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to streamline network deployments and updates.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve network reliability, security, and performance.
• Lead initiatives to enhance network automation and DevOps practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues with a focus on proactive solutions.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and inclusive team growth.
• Advocate and implement best practices in security and compliance within network environments.
• Depending on assigned team:
  • Team 1: Support agile processes, automate testing and release validation, and strengthen existing network frameworks.
  • Team 2: Engage in large-scale design and development projects, including new network deployment for security and surveillance systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Aruba networking technology and ClearPass authentication frameworks.
• Strong skills in Python programming and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and DevOps culture.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team collaboration and mentorship.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-centric approach.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Aruba, CCNA/CCNP, DevOps, or Cloud certifications) are a plus.
• English is mandatory, Dutch is a plus
