For our client (a product manufacturer in the field of control technology) we are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer C++ (m/f/d) in the Stuttgart area.
The medium-sized, family-owned company has a long-standing reputation for high-quality products in measurement and control technology “Made in Germany”. The position offers a lot of creative freedom in an interdisciplinary environment - ideal for experienced developers who really want to make a technical difference.
Tasks:
* Modeling and development of embedded software for measurement and control systems
* Hardware-related software development in C++ on resource-limited systems
* Significant involvement in the technical design of the new STM32 platform
* Further development of processes and significant influence on this (including collaboration in the creation and maintenance of the in-house framework)
* Documentation and ensuring software quality through reviews and tests
Your skills:
* Professional experience in embedded software development (min. approx. 5 years)
* Very good programming skills in C++ (incl. knowledge of modern standards)
* Experience in hardware-oriented, resource-constrained programming (bare-metal or RTOS)
* Experience in software design and architecture (design and architecture patterns)
* Independent, pro-active and structured way of working
* German or English C1
Nice to Have (no must!):
* Experience in handling measurement technology (oscilloscope/logic analyzer/multimeter)
* Understanding of hardware/electronics (reading circuit diagrams, commissioning, soldering, measuring)
* Knowledge of tools such as Python, CMake (user and script creator)
