Candidate FAQs

Why should I register with Amoria Bond?

There are a number of advantages to registering with Amoria Bond.

By holding your details we can use our experience to match you to vacancies that we have currently and any vacancies that we receive in the future.  We can also give you feedback on your CV and expectations along with offering interview advice and help with managing salary expectations.

We also receive urgent requirements from clients and therefore, some vacancies are not generally advertised and we contact suitable candidates directly.

What types of roles do you typically recruit for?

At Amoria Bond, we specialise in connecting engineering professionals with exciting opportunities across global STEM markets. Our focus is on three pioneering sectors: Advanced Engineering, Technology, and Energy. We offer both permanent job placements and temporary contract positions with leading employers worldwide.

Can I apply for more than one role at a time?

Yes, you can be put forward for as many roles as you would like and as many as we deem you suitable for. If you’ve applied for one role and another vacancy becomes available that you are interested in, then we’d be happy to discuss with you the options available and the best course of action. If you do get an offer from more than one client, then the decision will be yours as to the one you accept. We will of course be available to offer advice and guidance at this time.

How do I get started with Amoria Bond's recruitment process?

Getting started is easy! Explore our latest job listings on our website and find a role that aligns with your skills and aspirations. Once you've found a position that interests you, you can apply directly. Our team of expert recruiters will review your application and reach out to initiate the next steps – within 24 hours!

Didn’t find a suitable role on our job board? Submit your CV and your details will be added to our global database. If the right position comes up that matches your skills and experience, one of our staffing experts will reach out to you with the opportunity.

Will I have a dedicated consultant to guide me through the recruitment process?

Absolutely, you'll be partnered with a dedicated contact who is an expert recruiter in your field. This consultant will serve as your reliable point of contact, ready to address your queries, provide assistance, and offer valuable guidance throughout the entire recruitment journey. Beyond matching you with the right position, our role is to consult and advise. We'll help you prepare for interviews, offer post-interview feedback, guide you through subsequent stages, and share insights to enhance your future job prospects.

How long does the recruitment process usually take?

When you express interest in a role, expect a prompt response within 24 hours. For contract positions, our streamlined recruitment process can be completed in as little as 48 hours. For permanent positions, we generally aim to finalise the process within 2-4 weeks. However, we must stress that these times are project dependent, and if there is any delay our recruitment professionals will keep in touch to update you with the latest developments. You can learn more about our recruitment process here.

How often should I contact you to inform you that I’m currently looking for work?

We’d love to hear from you and for you to let us know about your current work situation. If you’re looking for contract roles or temporary positions then this is especially important. Please let us know when your contract is coming to an end and then we can review your options and match you with the most suitable vacancies that we have on our database.

For candidates seeking permanent roles, we would also like to hear about your current work situation especially if this has changed recently. Whatever the reason for you seeking a new role, please send over a copy of your latest CV along with details of what you’re looking for in your new role and we’ll do our best to match you with the right role.

Would you send my CV to a client without contacting me to see if I’m interested in that vacancy?

We will only ever send details to a client after we have contacted you first and confirmed that you are interested in that role.

If I apply for a technology role through the Amoria Bond website or via a Job Board, does that mean that my CV is automatically sent to the client?

No, it doesn’t. Our consultants working in the Technology teams screen all CVs that they receive for a particular role in the technology sector and then create a shortlist based on the role requirements of the particular client. Candidates on the shortlist will then be contacted to discuss the role further and to confirm interest and suitability.

If you do have the suitable level of experience and skill sets within the technology sector then one of our team will be in contact with you within 3 working days after you’ve submitted your CV. If you’re not contacted, then unfortunately our consultants have not chosen you for the shortlist for that particular vacancy. We will however keep your CV on record and consider you for any other technology vacancies as they become available.

Do I need prior experience in the STEM fields to work with Amoria Bond?

While experience in STEM fields is often beneficial, we value a diverse range of backgrounds and skill sets. We assess candidates based on their potential, passion, and transferable skills. If you have a strong interest in the STEM sectors and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to explore the opportunities we offer.
