Gary has an OBE for Services to Diversity in Business. He is the former CEO of S-Three, a FTSE listed specialist recruitment company, one of the largest in Europe with a £Billion turnover and employing around 3,000 staff worldwide. 


Gary worked his way up at S-Three from Trainee recruiter, experiencing a variety of roles in his journey to CEO, including Founding S-Three brand, Huxley, and Group Chief Strategy Officer. In his six years as S-Three CEO, Gary doubled both Turnover & Profitability.


Beyond the boardroom, in 2015 Gary was awarded Business Person of the Year at the Black British Business Awards – an award that goes to inspirational role models who can encourage the next generation of business achievers. He’s a trustee for the Aleto Foundation, a non-profit which SUPPORTS people from disadvantaged backgrounds to fulfil their potential to be the leaders of tomorrow, and in 2020 Gary founded the Diversity & Inclusion Charter, an independent initiative aimed at encouraging companies and individuals to hold themselves accountable by publicly pledging what actions they’ll take to make positive, real-world change and make diverse, inclusive and equal workplaces a reality.
