At Amoria Bond, we believe in making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. Our commitment to ‘Help The Community’ is not just a slogan; it's a core pillar of our business growth strategy. We recognise our responsibility to support those less fortunate than ourselves, and every end of the year, each of our offices worldwide nominates a local charity to support through fundraising, volunteering, and donations.
This past December, our Amsterdam office rallied together to support Serve the City Amsterdam, an international charity centred around showing kindness in personal ways to people in need. They partner with homeless shelters, refugee centres, orphanages and other associations, and we’re proud to be supporting them once again with the proceeds of our auction.
Through our collective efforts, we are proud to announce that we raised an impressive €3,900 to aid in their mission.
The fundraising efforts were diverse and engaging, reflecting the creativity and generosity of our team members. Led by Celia Daubagnan, Senior Recruitment Consultant at our Amsterdam office, our team organised an auction within the office, offering various items and experiences for bids. From selfmade pizza nights to weekend getaways at colleagues' fincas, the auction showcased the diverse talents and contributions of our team.
Moreover, our participation in the charity lottery during our AGM 2023 further contributed to our fundraising success. Through these combined efforts, we were able to make a tangible difference in supporting Serve the City Amsterdam's initiatives.
As we reflect on this successful fundraising campaign, we look forward to continuing working with Serve the City Amsterdam in the future: Just a few days ago, Celia additionally organised a partnership, in which each team in Amsterdam will organise a charity day with Serve the City. There will be 4 types of events in which the teams can participate: social volunteering, practical tasks, cooking events and green volunteering.
