NL Office Raises €3,900 for Serve the City Amsterdam

What a couple of weeks we’ve had at Amoria Bond! As you may have seen on our instagram page there’s been no shortage of social activities for our employees with something for everyone to enjoy whether they’re in Manchester, Amsterdam, Cologne or even working remotely. Having won Talint International’s Tiara for “Best Company to Work For” a second year running, we’re confident that our culture #InsideAmoria delivers great activities and an inclusive atmosphere - all of which has been on display at our recent events organised by our Culture, CSR and D&I committees. Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been up to:
Lunch Clubs
Amoria Bond’s legendary lunch clubs take place each month, with top performers in each of our offices rewarded for their hard work by being taken out for a free lunch (and plenty of drinks) at some of the finest restaurants in their cities.
This month, staff in Amsterdam enjoyed fine dining at Lars, the Manchester team were treated to a Brazilian Rodizio grill and the Cologne top performers celebrated with a classic Italian feast.
Nights out
The Manchester social committee organised a night out for drinks and games at local bar Roxy Ballroom, where our teams had their own private room complete with beer, wine and snacks for all. Our recruitment teams are naturally competitive, so with pool, table tennis and beer pong on offer, this was always destined to be a great night!
Meanwhile in Germany, the Cologne crew organised a team movie night with a trip to the cinema to see the latest Bond film.
Charity Auction
Last week our Amsterdam office held a charity auction, with staff donating prizes for each other to bid on, all in the name of a good cause. Competition was fierce and the bids quickly escalated as everyone sought to outdo each other for a great prizes. And in the end the fantastic response from everyone raised an amazing €2,300 for a local charity!
Football
The Manchester office’s Five-a-side football team did the company proud as finalists in a local tournament. Though they sadly weren’t able to take home the trophy this time, they put up a fantastic fight in the final match, having played brilliantly to reach that stage of the competition.
Volunteering
Finally our own Mike Walker and Richard Grogan were making use of their annual volunteer day - given to everyone who works for Amoria Bond - to spend time travelling around Manchester delivering food to those in need on behalf of a local foodbank.
Supporting our community is an important part of our CSR work at Amoria Bond and we encourage all our employees to give back what they can with their annual charity days.
