ASCEND Presents #BreakTheBias: Why Staffing & Consultancy Is A Great Career For Women

Register Now

Summary

"Working in staffing and consultancy can be a brilliant career for women". That's something you don't hear often enough, and that's a real problem, because the perception of this industry as being male-dominated is still prevalent and can prevent more women from seeking jobs in the staffing sector. To overcome this and drive more gender diversity in the sector, we need to break that bias. In our live panel event, broadcast on LinkedIn on 10th March 2022, people with first-hand experience shared their success stories in order to prove why staffing and consultancy can be a great career for women, while also exploring why gender diversity is essential for sustained success and growth in our sector. Featuring People & ESG Director Natasha Crump, Director of Renewable Energy Amy Steel, CFO Fiona Gleeson, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager Jenny Walsh, Principal Consultant Alina Ferrante and Recruitment Consultant Anne Jeraie Bien, with Non-Executive Chairperson and diversity leader Gary Elden OBE.
