Finding the quality assurance professional that no-one else could for AVH

To help our client find the right candidate for a specific position that requires niche experience, we conducted an in-depth interview to identify the right skills before starting our multi-channel search. We found over 100 qualified candidates who we screened and presented the candidate with four strong options. We then gave them further advice during the interview so that they could make the right decision to find the best candidate for the position

AVH specialise in the global trade and market development of goat and sheep dairy. Founded in 2001, the Dutch-based company became a subsidiary of Emmi, Switzerland in 2013 - one of Europe’s largest milk processors and innovators of premium dairies. AVH are proud to work on transparent communication, proactive attitudes and trust.

AVH came to us for help in finding a senior quality assurance expert. Part of their challenge was sourcing a candidate in a niche role that required specific dairy experience. Having successfully worked with other food and dairy organisations, Amoria Bond were called to help find the right person. 

Our recruitment experts discussed the role with the relevant stakeholders at AVH to fully understand the requirements. Following a detailed investigation, we were able to create a full market map of industry experts with relevant skills and experience. 

We conducted a multi-channel recruitment process covering job boards, LinkedIn, social media and our database, including sourcing recommendations and referrals within our own network. From this we identified 113 industry experts who met the necessary criteria and began conducting a two-stage telephone screening to create a shortlist. 

Within 48 hours of the initial brief and meeting with our client, we presented to them a shortlist of four of the best available candidates who suited the skill, experience and budget requirements. We also offered our client reference reports for all shortlisted candidates. 

AVH selected two candidates for interview, both of whom proved to be suitable for the job. As we had taken comprehensive references of the candidates, we offered additional value to AVH, advising them on which candidate had the strongest references and whom we believed to be the best fit. A candidate was hired who everyone agreed would be a great asset to the company. 

Due to the speed in which we were able to make a placement for such a niche role where they had previously struggled to find qualified candidates, AVH were delighted with the results and service we offered. We’ve since had additional meetings with them to conduct future business together.
